One of the biggest ceramics companies in Europe adopted a KRS pump as ceramic slurry feed pump.
The company has been using an end suction centrifugal pump for this purpose, but the maintenance costs for the pump was said to have been increasing day by day because of the high wearing rate caused by the highly abrasive material.
To solve this problem, the firm replaced the centrifugal pump with a KRS pump. The result is a constant delivery pressure and low wear and maintenance costs.
Thepump is not submerged, but there is no problem with cooling. It runs continuously with its side discharge channel system.
