To achieve a longer service life, an eccentric screw pump was to be replaced with a dry positioned submersible pump.

A Tsurumi type 80C21.5 wastewater pump with cutting unit was flange-mounted “dry” on the pipeline. The medium to be pumped itself provides sufficient cooling of the pump.
